Ranking Structure
THE BASICS
The EF ranking System divides NCO's (Non-Commisioned Officers) from CO's (Commisioned Officers). There are two separate ranking structures for both the Ground Force and Space Force. (Military Police uses the Ground Force ranking structure.) Each structure contains a set of 30 ranks. The first 14 are the enlisted or NCO ranks, ranks 15-30 are officer or CO ranks. To become an officer or CO, you must be at rank 14 and must pass the OTC (Officer Training Course). As am EF member, you are required to display your rank abbreviation along with your branch abbreviation as your motto. The format is as follows:
EXAMPLE: EFSF-CWMN
This would designate you as a Crewman of the Earth Federation Space Force.

Promotions
Promotions are awarded to those individuals who actively participate in clan activities, follow orders the first time they are given, respect superiors, contribute to the clans well being, ect. When Earth Federation leaders or officers feel that you are in need of a promotion, you will be asked to attend a weekend meeting where you will be awarded your new rank and status.
Demotions
Demotions are given as a form of punishment. They are given to members of the clan that have been disobeying rules and regulations of the clan, to those who have been disrespectful, and to those who have threatened the survival of their squad/unit by disobeying a direct or an indirect order form a superior or commanding officer.
